Philosophy

At the Wolf Orthopedic Center our goal is to provide timely, professional, and cutting edge care. My practice is limited to treatment of the shoulder and knee in order to give you the most specialized treatment possible. My continued research and innovations provide patients with the latest techniques and expert care. I recognize that each patient is an individual who deserves attention and treatment based on their particular circumstances. Our team works hard to provide each patient with the respect and attention that we would give to our own families.

California Pacific Shoulder Surgery Fellowship

Duration: 1 year (August 1 to July 31)
Deadline: December 31
Stipend: $60,000/year plus benefits and bonuses
Location: California Pacific Medical Center

This fellowship offers a great diversity of shoulder pathology and teaches the most innovative solutions for these problems. Although two-thirds of the patients and caseload involve shoulder pathology, there is also a variety of complex elbow and knee patients.

The fellow will have the opportunity to learn new techniques in the arthroscopic management of shoulder instability patients with anterior, posterior, multidirectional and revision cases. The same applies for arthroscopic management of shoulder instability patients with anterior, posterior, multidirectional and revision cases. The same applies for arthroscopic rotator cuff repair techniques. All rotator cuff tears, from partial to massive tears, are managed purely arthroscopically with a variety of surgical approaches. There is also experience obtained in total shoulder arthroplasty using new approaches and prosthetics.

There is also participation in advanced knee arthroscopy and reconstructions. Meniscal allografts, complex ligament reconstructions, articular cartilage procedures, unicompartmental arthroplasty, and opening wedge high tibial osteotomy are the major areas of interest.

Cadaver laboratory facilities are available for training and research purposes. Publication of clinical experience in new techniques in peer review journals is an important part of the fellowship.

The Clinical experience is intense in this busy private practice and there is a fellow's clinic where decision-making is put to test.

Beyond the scientific experience is the opportunity to learn about conducting a successful private practice in a competitive environment where quality and patient satisfaction can be second to none.
